Les is passionate about British cheeses and frequently gives talks to local groups with tasting sessions to compare real Farmhouse cheeses with supermarket imitations.  He is a regular judge at the World Cheese Awards.

 

These British cheeses are based on 15 years experience of specialist cheese buying and reflect the best.

 

As well as the finest British cheeses, we are now sole importer of,

the World Cheese Award Supreme Champion 2006,
Brebis Agour 10 month reserve.

We are proud to stock cheese from 3 local ladies:

  • Sandy Rose makes 2 blue cheeses, Barkham Blue and Barkham Chase at the Two Hoots dairy near Arborfield. Barkham Blue recently won the Best British Cheese in the British Cheese Awards 2008.
  • Her cousin Anne Wigmore makes Waterloo, Wigmore and Spenwood at Riseley near Reading.
  • Miriam Gilbert produces soft goats cheese at the Rowan Tree farm in Chesham.
